It is not a deal to buy an exercise bike because I know I will not use it. Another example, it is not a good deal to buy fish on sale because I don’t know how to cook it. My husband prefers to go out to have his fish dishes. And I have an allergy to fish. However, a deal on home furnishings, home accessories, and such, that’s a deal I can’t refuse.
Who Is In Charge At Home With Irene?
Let me introduce myself, you deserve to know more about me. I am a retired bookkeeper and income tax preparer and love numbers. My career centered on them. I also love to read. Fiction is my friend as I read to relax and escape into a scenario where good overcomes evil and everybody lives happily ever after.
My very favorite author is Sandra Brown, whom I had the pleasure of meeting when I owned my bookstore. I met several of our local authors at book signings at my store. Alas, small bookstores went the way of the doo-doo bird as the big box chain stores took over.
I heard an advertisement on the radio for H&R Block training classes so I signed up and spent 10 years with the company. I really like helping people and during the tax preparing season, the opportunities were many. New wage earners who did not know the first thing about income tax filing. What fun to start them on their path to financial adulthood! So many ways to help folks be more comfortable with filing their taxes.
