Global Warming and my thoughts on it. It is not a political issue as much as a faith issue. Who do you think controls our weather? God or Science? Or maybe as my blog suggest>>Trump!
As I was driving home from the doctor’s office on Wed. 9/12/18, around 5:30pm. I was listening to the radio about Hurricane Florence. The commentator stated that the Washington Post ran a headline that read:
Another hurricane is about to batter our coast. Trump is complicit.
I laughed. I know what the word “complicit” means but I have to wonder if the Washington Post editor does.
According to google website Dictionary.com, the word “complicit” means: (an adjective) Choosing to be involved in an illegal or questionable act, especially with others (having complicity).
The reason I laughed at the commentator’s comment is because what went through my mind is that
Trump conspired with the Lord to create a hurricane.
A special hurricane that would devastate our eastern coast. WOW! That’s what I would call power. Would you want to “poke a bear” that has that much power with the Lord? Not me!!

President Trump issued several warnings on his Twitter feed Monday, counseling those in Florence’s projected path to prepare and listen to local officials. That was good advice.
Yet when it comes to extreme weather, Mr. Trump is complicit. He plays down humans’ role in increasing the risks, and he continues to dismantle efforts to address those risks.
Are You Prepared For Global Warming?
(However, I saw the interview with the FEMA person where the reporter asked about the reduction in funds for FEMA and other humanitarian organizations. He stated very clearly and several times, that FEMA was prepared and ready for disaster that is coming.)
It is hard to attribute any single weather event to climate change. But there is no reasonable doubt that humans are priming the Earth’s systems to produce disasters.
“The ocean is warming up systematically,” Mr. Trenberth said, explaining that, though natural variation can turn surface temperatures up or down a bit, the oceans’ energy content is inexorably rising. “It is the strongest signal of global warming,” Mr. Trenberth added.
Global Warming is Real
I agree with Mr. Trenberth. Global warming is happening. I have known about global warming before the weather became a political position. I grew up knowing what will happen in the last days on earth. All you need to do is read your Bible. This is an interpretation of KJV of the Bible, Revelations Chapter 16. (translated in our mode of English)
One purpose in God striking the sun is found in the ages-long idolatry of men where they have worshiped the sun, moon, and stars rather than acknowledging their Creator. Thus, that which men have worshiped now becomes the source of their curse.
3 “Men are to be taught that the very things in which they have trusted or to which they have given their worship are to be the sources of their most terrible punishments.”
4 Another serious consequence of the sun’s intense heat will be the melting of the polar ice caps. The resulting rise in the oceans’ water level will inundate coastal regions, flooding areas miles inland with the noxious waters of the dead oceans. Widespread damage and loss of life will accompany that flooding, adding further to the unspeakable misery of the devastated planet. Transportation by sea will become impossible.
After all is said and accusations made, global warming is a prophecy from God that is coming true. All we can do is get our house in order, help our fellow man and look up. God is coming and “there ain’t a thang you can do about it”.
Is Global Warming Controllable?
BUT, passing legislature and spending money to try to control it, is a waste. It is going to continue and it will get worse. The world will not be destroyed by water again. That’s a promise from the Lord.
Can you guess how the world will be devastated this time? FIRE! In this era that means nuclear fire power. We need to be concerned about the countries that are in the nuclear bomb business. The Bible teaches that we need to beware of CHINA! Russia is no threat compared to CHINA.
I did not mean to be so doomy and gloomy. I started with laughing at a reporter who accused Trump of being complicit with God about the weather. So next time you see a rainbow, smile and say “Thank You, Lord”.
