FILTERED WATER VS PURIFIED WATER

Love, love, love my drinking water.  I have always enjoyed drinking water fresh out of the tap, with ice.  Drinking ice water can be unlimited, all you want, whenever you want. Also, I am a coca-colaholic. This is my go to drink when I need comfort. Not an alcohol drinker, or beer. But coca colas are not the best drink to consume unlimited.  As I have gotten older, I have to limit my cokes to 0 to 1 a day.  Caffeine you know. Not to mention the sugar!

My drinking water from the tap seems to be pure as it does not taste bad. As a matter of fact, I think it taste great.  A couple of months ago, my son brought in a zero water filter pitcher. It is clear plastic and has a filter that needs to be replaced every 2 to 3 months depending on the water used. The filter at Walmart is $20. What is the difference in filtered water vs purified water?

A water filter will improve the taste and remove the odor of water.  Also will reduce the amount of certain contaminants found in your water. As a result, this inhibits the further development of fungi, algae and bacteria.  Be aware that if you have more usage than the container holds, you will have to refill and wait for the water to filter.  My container is only for 7 cups and I am continually filling it after I dispense any water.

Another thought about water filters. You should not throw them away with regular garbage. Why? It is now full of contaminates like lead, arsenic or any other contaminants. These are classified as “hazardous material”.  If it ends up in a landfill it could leach contaminants into to ground water.  That certainly isn’t good.

BETTER SOLUTION TO FILTERED WATER VS PURIFIED WATER

Water Purification is so much better. Water purification systems will remove 90-95% of all the contaminants, including viruses and bacteria. Some other substances removed during the purification process are parasites, algae, fungi and toxic metals. (Such as lead and copper).  This purification system also removes substances that are safe to ingest, like chlorine, but negatively affect the taste, smell or appearance of the water.

Introducing the water machine that is the world’s most eco-friendly. Say goodbye to plastic bottled water with the plastic taste.  Yep, I used to keep bottled water in stock. I would grab a 16 oz. bottle of water to go into the car with me while I drive here there and yonder.  I keep the 8 oz. bottles by the bed at night for when I wake up with dry mouth.  Now, I pour my purified water into a travel mug and off I go.  At night, I have a sippy cup that I fill with purified water. Yeah, the baby kind of sippy cup. That way I am not pouring the water all over me while I am still half a sleep.

The best and most important feature of this water purification machine: IT IS MADE OF GLASS.  No plastic or metallic taste.  No environmental gum ups.  Easy to clean and you only have to do it once a year. That’s right! Once a year you need to clean the purification filters and the glass container.  The filters will last for 10 years!  Let’s see, that is $75 for the set of 2 purification filters, in 10 years compared to my zero water filters for $20 every 2 or 3 months. $80 per year in filters x 10 years is $800.

FOR THE PUREST WATER ON THE PLANET

The glass chambers are 2 tiered with the purifiers in the upper chamber. The lower chamber has a three-gallon capacity where the purified water is stored. If you think you will use more than 3 gallons at one time, feel free to transfer the water into another container.  It pure and it is going to stay that way!

This is eco-friendly as it eliminates the need to discard plastic into the environment. Thanks to the gravity-fed water filters and the all glass chambers, you get that pure zero taste of refreshing water you love.

For me, another benefit of the purified water is I don’t have to buy purified or distilled water for my CPAP machine.  This all glass water purifying filtration system is helping others get clean water. A portion of all sales goes to non-profit organizations such as Water.org and charitywater.org
